<<me many will miss the first 5 point move>>

Isn't that always the way?

Jeffrey, I saw it and agree with you that on balance she was positive. She was saying that the short term investor might want to wait until closer to Christmas because "these kinds of stocks" (or something like that) tend to run up more at that time of year. She was generalizing about the Christmas timing. She has been on that segment before and tends to be very low key. For her, THQ got a very favorable recommendation. The only thing lacking was Bill didn't ask, as he often does, "so would you buy it as this level?" By the way, the question was posed by "Chris." Could that have been one of us?

In regards to the internet competition threat, she actually made in different words, the point that Marc just made. She said the game companies would find a way to get license revenue from on-line gaming.

What I found interesting was the whole concept that she raised, though not agreeing with, that internet game play might take business away from THQ. Could this, in view of all the attention internet businesses are getting, be another reason the stock is languishing right now? Maybe this argument is being put forth in other forums and people are buying it (the argument, not the stock, obviously).

I'm going to watch some basketball and try to forget about the market. Wednesday I thought I would make a quick profit trading SFSK which had dipped to 18 as it has done several times in recent months before popping back up to the low 20's. I was distracted by house guests and didn't pay close attention to the volume being traded so bought even more Thursday at 15 5/8 thinking some institution was just reducing their position for whatever reason. WRONG! Can you say "profit warning" only three weeks after a very positive CC? Can you say "insider trading" big time and "little guy screwed"? Bye bye $10K.

Cheers,
Bob
