Here is my jim impersonation, but for the Dell thread:

My calculation based on IDC data and other articles I read indicate that DELL can do 21 cents this quarter. My research indicates that accounts receivable are not too high. The present value of the stock is 35-37 dollars a share. Compaq appears to be stuffing the channels. It seems that IBM is also. HWP does not appear to be doing this.
