A junkanoo.... A moment over the edge, just to remind you of where you are. Is this a spontaneous sort of thing, where people just get together and do it? Or is there a season, or an occasion? We have street festivals here, in a number of places, but they've become sort of overpromoted and overarranged, and don't have the vitality they did when I first saw them. Too many people, for one thing. Or maybe I'm just getting jaded, or older. Sounds like wonderful fun; hope the snow shoveling doesn't seem too grim by comparison. Junkanoo!
