JAS, I spoke to Irwin, not Birte, but thank you for the kind words. I have mentioned LEAH to a lot of folks and been a strong supporter on this thread for a long time, so I feel a responsibility to both the company and the shareholders.

Regarding the reasons and way in which trading was halted, we may never know but that is best left to LEAH's securites attorneys--if anyone can find out, they can.

No need to send me anything but I appreciate the thought. I have a substantial investment in LEAH, though not as much as some others on the board, and my reward will be to see this matter cleared up asap. An SEC halt is bad for business. I will give them a call on Monday for an update and report back to the thread.

However, I would encourage all investors to communicate more with the company, especially by calling the company in Toronto and leaving a message for Irwin to return your call. Not today, though. He should be aware of shareholders interests, concerns and suggestions. It is also reassuring to speak with him personally. I am not suggesting shareholders inundate the company with phone calls in the next few days. Just that some take a more proactive role in their investments.

I would expect the company to have a PR on Monday in response to the action they are taking to deal with the halt.
