I LOVE it! MJ and I got into a brown Tercel, sat down, the whole thing, but couldn't find the keys. Which are usually on the floor, because of where we live. It's safe, I mean. We both started looking around, and the car was clean. Eeek. We got out before anyone saw us. Thank God. I would have collapsed.

Why people want to leave their doors unlocked, so that can happen ~ it's not very nice.

Killer story man. Day-maker.

Good she didn't have a handgun.

Now, wait, I read about something like that in the paper just in the past week or two. A woman confronts four men who are trying to steal her car, she pulls a gun out of her purse and runs them off. Then she tries to get into the car but her keys won't work. Sheepishly, she walks a couple of rows away and gets in her own car and drives to the police station to report what happened. The officer on duty starts laughing and points to the other end of the counter, where four extremely pale white men are filing a report. I have to find a link somewhere, I read it in the paper. Life imitates art. No, things happen in threes?

I used to drive a blue Volvo 240, but I could always tell mine because it has a boat rack on top. Now with the Rover sometimes I do get a little confused, but I have an Appalachian Trail sticker in the window, so that's what I look for.
