Anyone know anything about IBM E-commerce deal on their BIG mainframes?
There was an announcement late last year or early this year.
I would think it should be REAL CLOSE NOW, EOM and IMHO
Thanks

Jim...tell me about it. I've got a few oil service stocks which are finally starting to come back from the dead. While there are similarities in the two groups, the catalyst we're waiting for has a specific deadline... January 1, 2000.

Actually, I think, from speaking to MANY companies, the IT budgets will be freed up much sooner than the end of the year. We should see some movement begin in the second half of this year--especially for those who concentrate in the smaller companies sales. Most of their y2k solutions are in place already because they weren't nearly as substantial. While it's true many of them may have already blown over 60% of their IT budgets on this problem, I think we'll see some pocket books opened for solutions that will be cash flow positive over the next 12 months (ERP solutions).

Anyway, good luck. You might want to also throw ROSS into that mix.
