I think its smart for SBC to drive xDSL via AOL-
AOL will do all the marketing by converting their existing accounts to xDSL where they can or when their customers ask. This will drive up incremental SBC revenue without spending big marketing dollars so most of the revenue will go straight to the bottom line. SBC will take orders and install. SBC ISP subsidiaries can continue on with their program and SBC wins both ways. I use PacBell net ISP and its a very good and reasonably reliable service so they know how to run an ISP.
