Yes, the gap opening makes this a tough play LONG. It makes this a lay-up on the short side as long as you checkout the trading volume and whether the spread isn't too wide once the volume settles the following week. The same holds true for featured stocks in Barrons once trading starts Monday morning. An example was Novell as a stock to quadruple in the next year. Monday NOVL opened at 23 15/16, high 24, and fell to a low of 22 1/2 for the day for a nice scalp.

Yes, I agree the best play on BW is now overnight Thursday. But judging from FORTY this morning, weekend holds can still be profitable.
