VLAD, I'm not an old-old timer, only been in this stock a year, but I share Joe's sentinment. It has been some gut-wrenching days over the past year, and we're still not out of the woods yet, but I think time is on our side.

As for Leland, I don't think you can blame him for things like the buyback or even the partnership (I strongly think something is in the bag or on the front burner), and nothing could have stopped the Viagra onslaught. The only thing 2 things that piss me off is the bunching together of country approval releases and the lack of swift action to counter some negative BS research releases.

IF every thing plays out right, Leland will be a hero. WHEN Vivus hits it's old high (~42) we should have a party and you'll be the first one to give him a big hug.

Although your "cheerleading" helps me feel better about holding, I still am responsible for my own decisions. So if it goes to $0, it's not your fault (but no Ferrari(s)). While I feel the same as you about Leland right now, I suspect any animosity will quickly dissipate, once VVUS enters the teens. He will not only be vindicated, but we will probably be grateful to him for enabling us true believers to accumulate such huge positions so cheaply...

I guess we better be nicer to Nina F., as well. Maybe she'll deliver the Ferrari for us - sort of a Ferrari squared.

Regards,
Joe
