<Basic TA on Gap UP strategies:

When a stock gaps up, if one hour after trading, the present
price is higher then the opening, GO LONG, BUY...

There are modifications to this rule, but if you need a
refresher TA jolt, go to TATRADER's Gizzard thread.
He is one of, if not the best TA on Silicon, and I'm
sure will answer any questions of yours on TA.>

If you want to sit with a stock for a while you are right.

But in most cases if a stock gaps up like these stocks and people get caught at the top, there will be selling pressure on the stock for several days or even weeks.

If may recover, but in the long run the traders of stocks under five dollars will try and cut their loss and any sign of a move up creates selling.

I know what you are saying, but those stocks have a group who are long in the stock, this stock just started trading at this level, check the historical trades, this is I think the first day that this stock traded over 500k shares.
