Does anybody knows any shareware utility that can transfer files between notebook w95 to NT. I have used fastlynx(clone of laplink) using printer port cable. I tried Carbon Copy 32 and PC Linker III.
No luck.

Thanks

Crashed! Help!.. If anyone can offer some pointers.. here's the problem.

Noticable clicking of drive.. computer froze.. rebooted to more clicking during initializing (sounds like a small solenoid clicking on and off (could be drive mechanism or controller?)).. it eventually stalls with "Disk I/O error".. It will resort to A:\ rescue disk which boots to Dos however C: D: and E: drives and the CD won't list.

Machine is a P233 cpu on a R533 (http://www.mtechnology.com/r533.htm) motherboard with 64mg ram, a primary WDC and secondary Quantum, a scsi adaptec that goes to an external jaz.

I need the data on the C: drive but its coming up nothing. The cd won't boot to Win95 (was going to reinstall the operating system), don't know if there's a controller problem, or scrambled operting system, or failed drive mechanism that's causing the problems.

Suggestions welcome.. thanks
