If you are not able to download the article, it stated That BMW-AG of Germany would be the first to utilize hydrogen as a fuel for fc in an automobile,. They propose to to use hydrogen in a ice to drive the wheels and hydrogen in fc for the electrical needs. At least that is how I understood it. Some others may have a different interpretation of the article.

Bill: International Fuel Cells is a division of United Technologies. UTX's fuel cell efforts have been divided into IFC for PEM work and mobile applications, and ONSI for stationary power, which up until recently has been entirely phosphoric acid fuel cells.
