That used to happen to me all the time. I use AOL, I deleted the program and reinstalled again. Works fine now... Robert...

Hi Daisy - I have exactly the same problem and I'm happy to find a fellow sufferer. I use Win98 and it seems to be a bug. I haven't figured out what triggers it. There is one thing you can do - an imperfect solution: Go to control panel and select Mouse, then the Pointers tab. Install one of the pointers. This one won't disappear - though your pointer will still blank out over hotlinks. I'm guessing Microsoft knows of the problem now and there may even be a patch to fix it but this at least lets you keep working until you have time to reboot. Techie greetings, Kailash

Daisy, I have been fighting Dell for about a year now with the same problem, I have cleaned out my computer completely and done just about eveything. Still have the problem. What computer do you have? Probart

If you guys/gals give me the details on the hardware and software issues you are experiencing then maybe I can leverage me and my guys to help out a little. I lurk here and am constantly amazed at Anthony's ability to call the ball but I know computer issues can really hammer you guys. Drop me a line with details and me and my group will gladly take a look. I want to start going short but I do not have time to watch these things like a hawk. Do any of you guys not do this full time and if so how do you keep up with the calls? Anyway, let me know if I can be of assistance. David
