TO the thread: My condolences to the longs. The important part of the trading halt is as follows: Further, brokers and dealers should be alert to the fact that, pursuant to Rule 15c2-11 under the Exchange Act, at the termination of the trading suspension, no quotation may be entered unless and until they have strictly complied with all of the provisions of the rule. The problem is not the trading halt. It expires automatically. The big problem is getting a market maker to sign off on a 15c2-11. There seems to be little incentive for a MM to do the investigation and take this risk. Consequently, trading halts usually mean the pink sheets. Hey Zonkie, I think that you are Mr. Stark's alter- ego, you seem to have shown a history of appearing right after any SEC bad news on a thread. From 9-5, you are Mr. Stark, But as Zonkie, you get to say everything that would be out of character as an SEC agent. Hmm. . must be fun, what you do.
