Thanks for the response, I too did the calculations on the splits and I'm not sure where either you or I went wrong. I went back to the site and could not bring up the figures you did. I'll be gone over the weekend but will do some more research and get back to you early next week. Contrary to your belief I am not a Dell cheerleader. I have been long this stock for five years (back when investing was through a broker instead of on-line, which I only began to play with a few month ago. As a long term shareholder I am interested if insiders are dumping shares in an unprecedented manner. I'm just not convinced that these recent sales are out of the ordinary relative to the number of shares outstanding or relative to past sales. If I come to believe that this perception is wrong, I would use it to re-evaluate my position. Gee, this is a lot more pleasant than previous posts. Perhaps we can all learn something. That is the purpose of these threads isn't it. Good luck and aloha.
