Just guessing, but if there are production cutbacks, won't that mean fewer straws in the ground needed, and thus increased competition and lower day rates ?

Surely it would take a demand increase to improve day rates ?

Ford's recent introduction of a new SUV that is about the size of a Greyhound Bus and gets similar gas mileage represents the turning point in oil. This rally may or may not have legs, but the over supply will be cleared eventually. This group represents the single best risk/reward play for a 1 - 5 year period, IMHO.

Slider,
You are full of crap and totally two-faced for jumping on me when I suggested caution and now you start your post with "Being cautious, and above all putting some CASH into ones pocket when the opportunity arrises, has proven prudent here in the Oilpatch of late."

When do you get tired of your own BS? When you discuss companies, you add to the discussion. When you pontificate, you show how shallow you truly are.

JMO,
Michael
