Finally, one wonders why the SEC shoots first and investigates later. One would think they would have contacted the company first with these concerns and given them a chance to respond before abruptly halting trading.

Though I have no knowledge of what procedure(s) occurred with LEAH, it has been my experience that the SEC usually does cooperate with the company prior to any actions, and SEC actions are usually not a big surprise to insiders...
