Richard, you are bang on with your comment about having to deal with partners. In order to not 'piss anyone off', you have to keep your partners informed. Of course, everyone has their opinion of what should be done next (depending on their position or interest). Then, you have to decide whether you will 'ram rod' the next move because you carry the most interest or are the operator, or try to maintain good relations by utilizing skillful negotiating and trying to come up with a "win-win" feeling at the end of the day. This all takes time....

When you have 100% of a play, you call the shots quickly and on your own. Especially if you own the facilities as well.

However... IMO, if this was a very economic play and the reserves were large enough, it would not take long for everyone to recognize this and come on board with a common goal... get the damn thing on production ASAP. This has not happened. WHY?
