Dave:

You might well be right about this. However, I will wait for
the action on Monday to determine if I should exit or not.
The two key stocks I follow, DROOY and MDG have both flashed
buy signals according to my system, and these signals have lasted
several weeks in the past. Obviously, any system can be wrong
at times. I am hoping for a somewhat longer run. The news on
the ppi is now old, and don't forget that with gasoline prices
now rising, and now oil having bottomed for the time being,
we may have seen the best news on inflation.

Also, I follow the gold funds, and they have also flashed intermediate
buy signals, and if they can hold in here, will have flashed a long
term buy. Check out the charts on gold-eagle, esp. the weekly
chart. Looks good to me, but we need continuation, as you
correctly point out.

Dave:

You were right, I am out also. Marantette is actually looking
for what he calls an entropy bottom, meaning a sharp multi-day
correction which has a way of exhausting itself.

We'll see.
