Usually headaches are caused by the refresh rate not being set high enough. I can actually see the rate of "flickering". Not many people can, but if it is flickering like a strobe, it will cause headaches. Note that you probably won't be able to see it. For some reason I can. But just adjust your refresh rate to 85 hz or higher.
