Free Unix works for me. I'm a happy camper. There are LOTS (and lots and lots) of unhappy campers who bought into the (now dated) notion that you and Bill Gates are advancing. On top of everything else, you actually expect people will willingly PAY you for an integrated GUI OS. At least Bill Gates understands it takes marketing leverage to sell that crap. -JCJ

Charters: MSFT Windows Design approach: 1) Use all the inventions from Unix that you can 2) BS about all aspects of your product 3) Make the "Blue Screen of Death" crashes a feature not a bug 4) Time upgrades to synchronize with quarterly accounting (i.e., give them an upgrade whether it is needed or not) 5) Become a pack of "professional" liars 6) Make software quality your lowest priority 7) Maintain proprietory source code so no one can see that most of what you have done has been a "five-finger discount" from Unix and Mac 8) And above all else, do anything (and we mean anything) for the almighty buck. This includes disowning your family, perjuring yourself on the stand, and making sure that you maintain no professional nor legal regard for the creative works of others. This includes complete disregard for existing antitrust, patent, and copyright laws and the use of legal "stone-walling" to buttress such an approach. 9) Use 42 obuscated Dialog Boxes and 4-fold the amount of time for a simple configuration that takes a single, simple command-line in Unix.
