We disagree, Sleeper?

What did I say to which you take exception?

I would argue, though, that big money lurks at SI. It's a useful gauge of sentiment and a source of some great insight. Consider, for example the deconstruction of earnings conference calls that goes on here. An analyst can read a poster's take and learn more than he did by participating. (Look at the CMGI board.) Also, SI is great at assembling links that matter.

So fine, buy-siders make their own investment decisions. I hope so. Hey, we're not telling them what to do, and we're not buying their under-perfoming funds. We're always *in front* of the curve; that's our job. But don't count out the role that we play. Tell you another little secret, too: CEO's are reading these posts...and learning from them.

BAM

Guys, I really hate those convertible debentures. Apparently, market is also not taking it positively. Remember when AMZN came out with those, its forward has slowed down considerably since then.

We'll see what this morning presentation brings.
