Morning victor,
Losing market sales in notebooks and desktops is pretty
cr*ppy news and the server sales haven't excelled as I
thought they would. Did CPQ anticipate this? Were sales impacted
by the channel/direct? Will this impact future earnings?
Never thought I'd see the day CPQ would fall so far back (without
a stock split). As far as the lawsuits go, not totally unexpected
and bright people need not be worry. Just more fuel to burn
through before the smoke clears (unless there is a firestorm
hidden behind the smoke).

Good Day

victor,

As you know, but I think others may tend to forget.....the first qtr. numbers are not going to be made strictly on PC sales. To all: put that category aside for the moment and concentrate on services and high-end enterprise apparatus. I think that is where the upside surprise is going to happen. (Since an earlier posting I made to this effect, I believe it was confirmed by a quote in another posting from EP, EM or IR, I am sorry, I don't remember when and who exactly.)

All JMHO and FWIW, of course.
