There's no indication that MS will spin off the internet properties anytime soon. I agree that doing so would create high value for investors, but short of a massively negative trial verdict, there are no signs that Bill&Steve are willing to do that. The rumored reorganization is really just business as usual at Microsoft: They reorganize all the time, move folks from building to building, and change the reporting structure between the drones' managers and BG. Still, though, the collective remains. Resistance is futile.
