Earlie, did you know that Canadian Maple Leaf Financial Corporation will pay a dividend of $0.02 as of April 30,1999.The dividend is small but I think the company will use their cash to buyback more shares as soon as their new fiscal year starts(April 1,1999).According to my estimates CMLFC should have more than $20 million in cash .The quoted market value as of march 12 1999 was $4,961,049.This stock is probably the best bargain available in Canada.

Earlie, But I think Compaq has a decent case. They ought to hire the lawyer who defended Mike Tyson at the rape trial. His main argument was, "after all of his past actions, who would be stupid enough to think they were safe alone in a room with Mike Tyson?" He could use similar thought here. "After so many flim-flams in the past, who would be stupid enough to think they were getting the true story from Compaq?" Well, maybe that isn't such a good idea. Mike did go to prison. <g>

Earlie,

I agree. When all else fails, file a "class action"

Compaq will just say rosy projections coupled with heavy insider selling are routine at CPQ and there was nothing unusual. <g>

If Intel pre-announces things will really get ugly in PCland.
