Any newbies to second and third tier biotech
could spend a couple hours studying ImClone
this weekend.

I noticed McCamant is in the April issue of
WORTH magazine with this one again, so he's
done a good job of staying on just a few picks
and pounding the table.

The stock has been jumpy lately, you will find
"IMCL", "ImClone" and "McCamant" on a few of the
daytrading threads, and I'm sure if anybody out
there has a DSL line and runs a bot all day
collecting all the noise from the IRC trading
channels, you'd find it over there too.

Buying and holding what look like cheap third
tier stocks has me down 10% for the year at this
point--my legs are getting a little wobbly now,
and I may have to take my own advice. I'm not
saying IMCL is the right one to target...but
there may be something to this trading malarkey.
After all, when I stopped trading I stopped making
money (oh, I know how to lose money trading as well,
a lousy purchase of LGNDW at $4 yesterday reminds
me how difficult is is to find near term bottoms,
Ligand may not be done selling off quite yet).

My current picks in order of weight are in my personal
profile, note that CTII has moved down the list, I
lightened up 5/8ths of my position at 1 3/16, which
should make for an excellent by signal--noticed that
it immediately went up 1/8 the next day {:-(}

Week after week, quarter after quarter, the story remains the same.
Kurt von Emster underperforms. Until recently, he has frequently gone
into the public forum (CNBC and others) and blamed the sector. I
believe that an honest and courageous person let's the buck stop where
it belongs..... at their desk. When he adopts a "cease and desist"
policy toward the sector, I will stop posting the piss-poor
Franklin/Templeton results. Until then, same time, same station.

How can anyone be this bad?

Shouldn't sector funds have someone who understands them at the helm?

With such loose management, is it any wonder that the corporation as a
whole is suffering?
