Because, you idiot, i'm an investor in this company...

I believe Jeff was asking why you believe this company is a good "investment". After all, they have no money, are engaged in vast amounts of very expensive litigation, and appear to have given up trying to market their products. What is it you find so attractive about all this?

Now let us turn to the NexTech hearing, which took place on the morning of the 11th. To refresh your memory, allow me to remind you that Spidey informed us in his usual authoritative way that teifer's case, imo, is dribble. most importantly charlie transfered the stock to his wife wanda. if anyone has to come up with 224k shares, imo it will be her. tommorow should be a very good day for aznt shareholders! (#reply-8258715).

Well, it wasn't. We never did hear anything more from Spidey on the subject, and have only just heard--very briefly--from our own sources.

So what happened? Well, the judge heard arguments offered by AZNT countering NexTech's request that AZNT and Mike Sylver be held for contempt of court. As is normal, he made no immediate ruling, but we're told that in closing he remarked to Sylver: "I will make a ruling on this soon. You should really attempt to make peace with the plaintiff. If I rule in the plaintiff's favor, as I am inclined to do, there will be sanctions involved".

Evidently the judge also asked NexTech's attorney, Stephen Peek, what he wished in the way of appointing a receiver for Amazon Natural Treasures. This receiver would, should Peek's request be granted, take over the shares-transfer process, issue the 224k, and then remain in place to make sure that this and other share certificates are handled properly.

We'll see what happens. Needless to say, I feel strongly that removing Mike Sylver from his self-appointed role as transfer agent would put a stop to at least some current abuses.

So Dave, you were telling us what a great little company this was? Fantastic management, eh?
