Larry, Yes, but why borrow additional shares from a broker, and pay a fee for having borrowed them (for what, 3 months going on 4, now?), when they could have just pledged their own shares? What do they care about 'hiding' such information from the public? They're a hedge fund, in business to make money. I don't think they'd want to pay unnecessary interest.

No, I think that if they wanted to short the stock, they'd have just pledged their convertibles.
