Hi Sean,

I heard that only 3% of drugs that enter phase 1 eventually become a drug.

Some one told me that:

Phase 1 only 20% succeed. (20 out of a hundred 100)
Phase 2 only 29% succeed (5.8 of the remaining 20)
Phase 3 only 64% succeed (3.7 of the remaining 5.8)

I saw a statement from Dundee analyst that confirms 3%.

Could some one tell me if phase one success is 20% or 80 %. If 80% is correct please tell me what success rate of phases 2 and 3.
