Found answer to my question. Erols IPS was bought out by StarPower not Starnet.

SNMM did NOT buy Erols Internet. Erols was bought by RCN Communications, a broadband cable/communications pioneer (Nasdaq: RCNC). RCN also bought JavaNet and other ISPs. RCN is about 40% owned by Level Three (Nasdaq LVLT), an all-IP international long-line data carrier.
