I believe we agree. Your points are quite true. But those items are only the initial phases of the Plan. Right, wrong or indifferent, many are skeptics who want to see more evidence that the intermediary and final phases of the same Plan will start to become reflected on the top & bottom lines. I probably should have added this caveat to my statement: but management must PROVE that they can consistently execute the plan--the general perception of which, unfortunately, has not effectively occurred.

The additional time you cite, likely over the course of the next 1-2 qtrs. (given a positive 1st gtr.) will provide the answer. (Man, I am starting to sound like an analyst....."we will know when we know.")

Victor,

The news out on Friday does not look good for CPQ.
Their ability to stuff the channel again to make their numbers is in serious doubt.The channel does not want to cooperate.
I put my estimate out on the basis that they could stuff again to make their numbers.

What do you think about this?
