Could a Hotel that you were staying in have DSL

ADSL would be inappropriate for that kind of a situation since it isn't meant to work on a switch like those used by hotels, but we'll probably see more hotels adding a LAN that users can connect into for internet access. Remember though, that both a LAN and DSL connection require that the computer have a ethernet card attached. That's no problem for Mac users since their machines have come with ethernet for a couple of years, but most WinTel machines are still sold without ethernet.
