This thread is fine, thanks to the active posters. There's minimal hype and the posts are almost always on topic and polite (or at least not profane). I've been busy at work for the past few weeks and I poked my head in here recently and I was glad to see that Tim is back. Let's stick to the stock talk and get rich(er).

Good luck all (especially fellow PAIR longs).

Will H.

In response...
I am so fortunate to be able to listen in to the discussions that you, Glenn and Dawg have on this thread along with some others that I have come to respect.
I think you handle the "pump and dumpers" and the scammers immediately and they feel very uncomfortable staying for any period of time.
i've learned a lot and hope that soon I can contribute.
Don't bail out now.

:))

What I find interesting to read is individuals "picks" and the reasoning behind them. I try to take, from those posts, their perspective on a given trade or move and view it my own way and see if it adds up.
I enjoy trading, I enjoy the wins, I take my losses in stride and move on to the next win.
Any message site you go to will never be "perfect" there will always be individuals that want to rake you over the coals because they do not agree with your point of view. Many egos out there seem to be too big to overcome.

You see, this is why I've refrained from typing and stick to the point and click :^)
Oh well. Just my Saturday morning two cents.

I find that this thread is one of the best on SI. The signal to noise ratio is very low. I think one way to improve would be to pay your PG&E bill. That way you would not be sitting in the dark <G>.

Good luck on pair. I am still holding. I chickened out and did not get more when pair was 8. I should have. There are so many things "I should have" or "I could have" that I would be very rich right now.

I could have sold asnd at 90+. I should have bought it back in the 70.

I could have bot csco at 45 in OCT.

I could have sold my ipo PER at 85. I was on the phone w/ my broker and he said, "I'd sell PER now".

I could have kept my FDX (I sold at 81 and the stock took off to 90+)

Why did I say all that?
I'm off to buy a Barrons. I think that the writeup on Cramer might bring some laughs. I guess I'll take the wife to lunch.

Cheers.
Chris.

BTW doing DD on MCHP.

I read this post daily but almost never post anything from a time standpoint. I don't think any changes need to be made and I do think the comments made by all are interesting even if not always useable. I find most other areas filled with new investors with some very unfounded ideas which make it time consuming/boring to read through or others who have their own interests in posting info. I do appreciate everyone that posts here as I often hear about new companies that I am unfamiliar with to track and sometimes invest in.
