EyeDrMike; Thank you for the information. I have probably seen him but don't remember him. Your documentation of his comments are enlightening. He represents one of those influential analysts I believe are used by their bosses to change market direction in order to bring about rallies and declines so that profits can be maximized. Certainly this character is intelligent enough to be aware of the inconsistencies of his various statements. He is letting himself be used as a tool and is probably corrupt. Nothing he says can be believed but the are several like him, belonging large brokerage houses, who form a chorus that helps move markets in any direction that may be convenient for their masters, at the moment. They are a part of the mosaic that makes up control of markets. Specialists , investment bankers , brokerage houses, MMs, media PR and finally the Federal Reserve. It is no simple matter to delineate its various parts and understand how they work together to control markets but even the casual observer has to be baffled by the markets' gyrations through the years with no particular, underlying reasons.
