Superconductor Tech Gets Wireless Filter Systems Order March 24, Dow Jones Newswires SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Superconductor Technologies Inc. (SCON) received an initial purchase order from U.S. Cellular Corp. (USM) for 25 SuperFilter Systems. Financial terms weren't disclosed. In a press release Wednesday, Superconductor Technologies said the SuperFilters create a front-end amplifier and filter system used to enhance wireless base station performance. Superconductor Technologies makes high-temperature superconductor and cryoelectronic products used in wireless communications, high-speed computing and aerospace electronics. A step in the right direction, but this news item garnered little attention. At 3/day, that's a 10 day backlog, eh? Still long SCON
