Frank,

Good comments. I'm still sizzling.

1. "Is mgmt committed to making changes...?"

I don't know. Their e-mail response was heartening. No bs. I don't know if their changes will help. Can we risk sitting this out 'til they decide to announce 1Q Earnings?

2. "Exchange rate problems in '99"

I don't know. This needs to be examined.

3. "How is TOY doing in '99"

Better,IMHO. TOY went from high of $ 35 in '97 and landed with a thud in Feb 98 @ $15 approx. Lately, up to $18 level in last few days.

The Furby is a rabbit that mgmt keeps releasing. We chased that rabbit all over last qtr only to discovered that it was not very important to earnings.

Now, GRIN has released a new rabbit: 50 % increase in sales in Jan & Feb '99. I told CFO it looked like hype. He replied, in writing, that it was a fact. So, 1Q99 will be a big Qtr.

Key Issue: Can GRIN take increased sales to the Bottom Line in 1Q99???

Key Issue: Does GRIN really care about it's external shareholders when the float is only a tiny 300K out of 1.6 Mil shares???

CFO wrote something about wanting to make amends to shareholders in 1999.

Like I said, I'm sitting on this for a few more days because I remember what a rotten company AOL was in '96 and '97. Gotta be careful about dumping something that may be of value.
