Joe,

I think it all depends on a few things:

1)How much do you believe in the product(s)
2)What is going to be Vivus' future relation with a big pharma in the USA/Japan?
3)How much control will Leland have AFTER a domestic agreement is reached.

I think those who were totally fed up sold on the way down or sold on the pop this week.

I believe that those who really believe in the longer term potential should just hold for at least a year.

IMO those who have had a lot of money tied up in Vivus with a paper loss for the longest time but refuse to take a loss and are relatively sick of Vivus but still believe in the product should seriously consider selling about 1/3 of their position when the price hits their BE point and then another 1/3 when they see a little profit. They can let the last 1/3 ride.

Of course they will be pissed if the sucker ends up running back up into the 1997 trading range.

There are a lot of people here holding anywhere from 15,000 to 120,000 shares(that I know anyway). That's a lot of profit to miss out on for every point it rises above their cost basis.

VLAD

PS You guys holding the 6 figure share numbers are going to be expected to have the Vivus victory party at your new mansions!

A ferari would be nice. Just a new radiator and a few other things in my old clunker would be nice. It's an 87 Subaru with 190,000 on her. But she just runs and runs thank goodness.

About the exit point, you might want to sell a little on each surge. A few shares around 10 then 15 then 20. This assumes that we will at least fill that gap from 15 to 21. Hold some for the full ride and see what she does.
