Fred, is there a site where we can get that historical information? If your source is right, then at the beginning of last week we should have had some 1400 contracts outstanding, making that strike the largest, typically the closest strike to the current price has the largest position open (that is typically where the "action" is). I'll go back and try and see if the put position can shed any light on this.
