Looking at the charts this morning, I realize that the JTC top 20 networkers were off from their highs (360 on 1/31) down 25% (291 on 3/3.) Now we are up to 313 on 3/12, and the trend is going lower. I thought we would see a 30% correction in the overall networkers market, before we saw another 10%-15% gain over the 1/31 highs. Are there any other broad market investors, who track this thing the way I do, for guessing future trends? The JTC top 20 networkers include: CSCO, ASND, ENT, COMS, NN, FORE, XYLN, CS PTEK, CMNT, EMLX, FVCX, MRVC, NWK, MADGF, ANET, CYLK, DGII, ANCR and NCDI. My guess is that around 5% of the correction (since 3/3) is from announced M&A activity, and the rest is the market can't decide to go up or down. We've been stuck ping ponging up and down since 2/8. The trend, as of Friday, was decidedly downward looking for the coming week. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated, since this group sets the strategy for my working money. Jack
