You are correct Cacaito... Although advertisements "may not include any information on unapproved or "off-label" uses, under the FDA Modernization Act of 1997, "copies of peer-reviewed medical journal articles and other validated scientific information about unapproved uses of approved drugs can be distributed to physicians and other health-care professionals, under strict conditions and FDA supervision. Thus, physicians will have more up-to-date product information and will be better able to meet their patients' medical needs."
