pompsander, Thank you. Let me give you a real life example of the consumers need and desire for simpler and smaller devices. I am the example. I travel A LOT! I lug around this beast of a laptop on the road only because I need to check email, surf the web (I love you guys) and perhaps fax a few memo's from the road. On the road, VERY RARELY do I use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and all my other pre-loaded software. That was the whole point of the BW article. RE DELL, they will rapidly look more like Coke in terms of where revenue and profit growth actually comes from. Did you know that something like 60-70% of all KO profits are generated outside the US?? DELL knows what is going on and Sir Michael and Staff will react accordingly. Regards, MileHigh PS- Not ignoring your voice recognition comments, I am simply not very up-to-date on this development. PSS- I know I can buy a smaller device now, but I am too cheap and not sure if it would be compatible with my current laptop. I am thinking hard about it though.
