What scholarship, Ed!

Agree with your analysis and confer upon you an AXC Ph.D. Honorarium to the charity of your choice (presumably, this one!).

Let's just plan on getting a big piece of the action...

BAM

Not in my opinion. This is what I meant in my previous posts that these developments will sneak up
on us and catch everyone by surprise. At stake is the video rental business and even the movie
theatre business in addition to the RBOC's and the local cable providers.

dr ed............

aside from that, no big interests, huh.
convergence is happening, convergence is happening...
sooner than we think.

not a bad posture, huh:
<<no affiliations no strategic partnerships...solutions to all of them....>>

is it soup yet?

Wonderful overview , Ed. Thank you.

Now I take it we AXC shareholders simply wait for execution ...... no.....lol...let me rephrase that ........ implementation.

Ampex is backing into a position of being a primary supplier of digital video storage and "know how" through their DST, MicroNet and affiliate Net partners.

Provocative post. Could you please fill me in on what is the competitive advantage of Ampex digital video storage solutions and who their primary competitors and customers are? What unique demands are placed on digital video storage compared to any other bits and bytes? How immune are they to competition from traditional storage leaders such as EMC? Who is Broadcast.com buying storage solutions from?

Thanks in advance.

Sam
