Jach. Let's see....the sale of 12 Alteon switches will impact the cat busines... Interesting. How do you figure? Alteon will be bought...if the product actually works. Fundamentally a switch can not hope to execute all the processes discussed in that announcement and do it in a high performance fashion. Attempting to support DNS functions, route traffic, and load balance will result in a lower performance network. Yahoo got sold a bill of goods. Let's not even mention the single point of failure. BTW: This is all the time I have. I don't think your other posts are significant Jach. You post an article and tell us all that it will impact Cisco...In Your Opinion...yet provide no substance. Do you want to have a discussion? It's not enough to point out a competitor and say they are after Cisco. Cisco is in so many markets they have 100's of competitors. No, rather please tell us why a particular competitor will succeed..of course keeping in mind that if they do Cisco will either adopt the technology or buy the start up. OG
