Money speaks a universal language red. I bet it would be cheaper to rent Ekati for the day than to piss around for months at some little plant. You need to hire people to watch the guys that you hire to watch the rocks and so on. Who could process the ore more efficiently and quickly than Ekati? Winspear will have to pay anyway so why on just pay a premium on a day or half a days production at Ekati? Over and done with and off to the bank.
They might have to raise the gates to let some of the larger diamonds through but I don't see how it would be a big deal.
