To Thread and Especially Elwood,

I was a long-time shareholder of cpq and fortunately got out in December (I did leave some money on the table). However, remember when 97 sales were over 21 Billion and 98 sales were supposed to push cpq near 30 Billion (Before DEC purchase)? And remember when the dec purchase was supposed to add another 18 Billion in sales? And therefore, cpq sales were supposed to be damn close to 50 Billion in 98? And rememeber the posts on this thread referring to EP boasts of cpq being a 50 Billion company? What the hell happened. Now I'm hearing that EP hopes to get there after 99. What happened to all the incremental sales from the DEC purchase? Any thoughts anyone??
