Yesterday I posted the following:

<<<<<<<With all this Orb news, if IOM has a 2 gig single platter drive, comparable to Orb,in pricing, the should announce it at CeBit this week
Cebit=Euro Comdex 3/18-3/24

On second thought I believe, if IOM has this product ready........they should definitely NOT announce until the quarter ends.......cc is when I would announce it. why risk a dramatic drop in Jaz Drive sales and disks........When they announce this will it be directly related to how big their current Jaz Inventory is.....and if they've already stopped production. They and their channel partners may need another quarter to flush out their inventory. This is only a problem when you start to see ORBs at Compusa....I haven't yet.....If this happens soon, before IOM is done with inventory (of drive...the probably would continue disk production)IOM loses this Battle......will probably win war.....I heard of some of the supposed new disk pricing.............2g vs. 2.2g is like zip 100 meg to 120 meag ls120......people like found numbers.....quick how many gigs are 17 orb disks.........now quick how many gigs are 17 supposed new 2g singleplatter disks ...........see what I mean.......

If IOM is late with this supposed product it does not bode well for the company....the OWN the market now .....to lose even a little of it would look like the begining of a crack in the wall. Infact IOM must not only be aware of competition, they must also capitilize the zip franchise into Beyond PC products.

Because I happen to have faith in the current management team, I believe that the stock is undervalued now based on its potential. But the market obviously does not have they faith I have.........we shall soon see........btw saw a compusa flyer with an ad for a Zip Starter Kit (Drive and 6 disks for $149...also the USB looks so pretty at $129.

Goodnight
