(O-T) Understood, SJS.

Never sure at what point one's posts create an "investment advisor" paper trail!

Figured hedging was what you were referring to.

As you're pretty experienced, let me ask a question. What tactics do you use to roll credit spreads or debit spreads? For example, when rolling a put forward, how do you handle a MM's unwillingness to give you fair value for the net transaction? Do you accept what you can get as a spread, or do you break it up into two parts (buy-to-close and new write) and try to market-time the trade? I'm looking for a solution to the problem of crummy MMs who don't cooperate. Maybe 2-3 out of 10 are creeps, the others no problem.

Comments welcome.
