Layla, you got me on my knees Layla. I got the feeling from watching the program about Jim that the bulk of what was earned through the sale of his music went to the record company and or middle men. The wife said that she has or had been in the process of trying to get rights to his music back or some such thing. They were probably totally unprepared financially because of his death. I heard a funny comment (in a dark way) regarding John Denver on the radio the other day. The story was about his family suing the company which made some part of the experimental airplane in which he was piloting when it crashed. After the story the disc jockey quipped, "Or in other words, they've already spent their inheritance." Up a little late aren't ya?
