Jimbo: For years, the US was the only country in the world that hosted a "world series" that guaranteed an American victory (in baseball). Looks like they are carrying the same principle into professional boxing. The experts on the British broadcast kept score throughout, and although Lewis was the clear winner, they kept warning viewers that this is America and don't be surprised what will happen when the official score is announced. I'm afraid that's how the world will see it today. In international eyes the supreme boxing title now is Lewis's - the World Council - the other two are second-rate.
