Seems to me that Ebay will eventually collapse under its own weight. Simple supply and demand. The more listings(supply)it gets, the more of a buyer's market it becomes unless demand also increases as fast or faster. That doesn't appear to be the case from most of the price trends I've seen. Looks like Ebay is becoming more of a buyer's market every day. Only problem is that Ebay needs increasing participation from the masses as both buyers and sellers to grow.

Of course, looking at a few price trends is, at best, a rough guesstimate of Ebay's overall supply and demand picture. Does anyone have any hard data?
